All of us who are of an age cut our teeth on Airfix models, and also for those of you who remember, the boxed military figures for 2/6d. Pick an army….. they were all there. When 'I were nowt but a lad' and encouraged by my teacher (ex military) I produced a WW1 diorama as part of a school history project. That was the start of a lifetime interest in history which, as I got older, morphed into an interest in Wargaming.... initially English Civil War (A pox on Cromwell! …… Guess which side I was on?) then Napoleonics, (I once painted up a full Polish Corps 30 Battalions of 36 plus artillery and Cavalry ..... for 1 (yes 1) club demo Game.... I must be mad!!!) although my real interest is the 100 days campaign. Age of Sail.. Great Fun! ACW and finally WWII. Having spent my gaming history ,tramping around in the mud ( gaming wise) it is now time to take to the air….So here I am!
