I know these American fellows are rather different sir, .....BUT

We British gentlemen, partake of Bacon roll or Sausage roll for breakfast

    But a pasty !!

We ventured on wards and arrived at the destination exactly on time.

Our American colleague was first shown one of only three world war one vessels still existing
an 'Iron Clad' which appears to have met with appreciation.

We then progressed onto one of the two main attractions...

Welcome to the Old World, Karl. Have a monstrous fun on the Island! Do not forget to taste their beers and watch your right NOT LEFT crossing the streets. Do not be also surprised that it is a passenger who normally drives a car there.

Karl looks to be having a good time! I love a good pasty -- but that picture looks more like he is enjoying the traditional English "calzone"

Great to see that Karl made it over safe and sound. Pasty looked a bit dodgy according to SWMBO ( her being a Plymouth maid with Cornish grannie!!) but theres plenty of other local delicacies to tempt him with over the next week.

Flying over on Thursday so as to there bright and breezy for Friday.
Will try and sneak some Andouille across the Channel for you all.

A British SoL under stump masts -- so what else is new? :)

(If one looks at after-action pics of British SoLs: They're afloat, but few of them have any masts left.)

Great to see Karl made it across the pond in one piece. I'm sure he'll appreciate all the different local beers you lead him to. Looking forward to the Doncaster report.
