LOVE IT! The Baron was surely surprised!
Options with Wings is unlimited! I've had a blast with this guy a couple of times.
My grandkids and I enjoy the WGF King Kong rules, now we need someone to develop some WGS rules for Gojira (Godzilla). I realize Godzilla was from 1954, but I want to use my WWII WoG planes to battle him. Is anyone who is familiar with Godzilla's many fighting moves, and special abilities up to creating some workable rules?
I have made 3 special Godzilla damage decks. 1 for breath, 1 for claw and 1 for tail. Special damage includes immediate altitude change, change of facing, getting thrown/batted 2-4 rulers away in a random direction...lots of damage if its claw or tail.
Yep, that's what I'm talking about. Have you put any of your rules in writing yet?
I have not posted anything in the files yet. All my components are in storage at the moment. I should have the files on my laptop. There are a few files to cover it all. 3 damage decks, front and back, 3 range rulers, a Godzilla damage management page and rules.
I should have the files on my laptop. I'll get them organized and posted. With all that I have going on this may take a while.
Awesome! I'll be waiting, patiently.
That sounds fun. All I need is a Godzilla figure!
Oh that is so cool! Now I see Gamera and Mothra decks in the future!
I have plenty of WWII planes, and fortunately, I have a few older Godzilla figures from which to choose.
Seeing this reminds me of Matt's Cthulhu "The Dunkerque Horror" game at Origins in 2018, in happier times. RIP buddy.

Played in Peter's Godzilla game and it was fun. So many different monsters so that means so many different games. Great ideas guys.
We've had a few non-government issued monsters tackling our WoG planes.
I brought dragons out:
Then Peter did the same:

Hm, makes our Santa’s sleigh game look a bit tame!
All of these creative ideas have me searching through the Aerodrome files again, and hunting down different gaming threads. Thanks Dave for sharing the links to Matt's (R.I.P.) "The Dunkerque Horror" game. I located and downloaded Matt's rules for it. Does anyone know where I could find a file for the cards that Matt had created?
No problem Paul, I know Matt would've jumped on this thread ! Can you link the rules for us please ?

I've never created a link before. Let's see if this works.

Paul, I have some of the same Godzilla figures!!! Awesome! Neca has some new ones out. About 8 inches tall I think. I saw them at Target here in Ohio. They are advertised as 12 inches head to tail.
Here is a link to their website. I love the Godzilla vs King Kong Figure!!!

Well, this is going to be crazy...King Kong I can understand, but the monsters...uhm...
Is not it a call for new planes, ARES?

I hope to have the Cthulhu Madness cards done this evening. Designing the back of the card will be interesting.
So how many books are in your personal library?
Wasnt there a KS exclusive Snoopy on His Hut for the t&t KS?
No, Snoopy on his hut was part of the Zeppelin Staaken and Handley-Page bombers Kickstarter.

I finished the cards for the Cthulhu madness and pilot sanity decks, but I am unable to upload the sheets to the files area. I'll try again tomorrow. But I can show you the design I made for the backs of the cards.

Oh wow, I can’t wait to download this resource!
Very nice. Looking forward to the download.
Something I did up years ago, to advertise WoG WWI games at conventions. I got the image from this Forum, but don't recall the source, sorry. For younger players, this 'oversized' model attracts the eyes to the table. It works to get attention, if not always new, and suitably mature pilots.

That's so cool looking Mike. Definitely an attention getter. I already have the Snoopy card downloaded. Been watching the Snoopy figures on eBay. I know I've gotta fly Snoopy at least once. I'll probably wait until the grandkids come over to play. After we choose up sides, and they have chosen their planes, I'll bring him out to fly. I know they'll get a kick out of it.
I would love to have one of those snoopys. They are an awesome model!
What next, Triffids?
That particular Snoopy can be found and purchased at your local Barnes and Nobles here in the states . . .
If you want a Snoopy that is slightly more in scale you could try and track down this Hotwheels version:
All you need to do is drill out the rivet on the underside that holds the kennel onto the chassis and glue a peg onto the bottom.
Wow! So many great figures and ideas in this thread
I painted this large Cthulhu for a buddy in Cincinnati, but I'm sure we could borrow him for Origins someday
[sorry, don't know why the images won't rotate vertically]

that Cthulu card has sparked my interest
Nicely painted Cthulhu!!! I have one of the Horroclix ones at the house.

These Godzilla damage cards are tempting me to buy another Godzilla figure. Well, maybe it is the fact that there are some cool Godzilla figures out there that are tempting me to buy another Godzilla figure.

You know we could use a Barbie Doll for Attack of the 50 Foot Woman.

A d6 and d12 are used for my rules with Godzilla.
Godzilla's Bad breath..
Arc and damage, Primary target gets the worst one damage card of X cards pulled, secondary planes get whatever one damage card is drawn.
Example, 2 planes are in the breath arc, one at close range and the other at medium range. For the close range plane draw 3 damage cards and inflict the highest #, special damage Godzilla's choice. The plane at medium range draws one damage card and keeps it.
Claws and tail are similar. Godzilla can only attack with one claw per turn on one plane. The tail can hit as many as are in it's arc.
If the Claw attack has the note Grab and Toss, the plane is grabbed and flung in a random direction, 1 - 6 o'clock for right claw, 7- 12 o'clock for left claw. The plane will travel from 3-5 aircraft firing measurement sticks away, ending in a random facing, 1 - 12 o'clock. Apply any special damage after new location and facing is determined.
Breath damage
Claw damage
Tail damage
