Excellent, just excellent. Well done, gentlemen (and ladies, of course, in case any entered).

I am ashamed to even have entered when I compare my entry to the other ones.:embarass:

None of that now! I'm proud that everyone entered, it is what makes the contest so much fun for me. I just love seeing all the different models out there that, for the most part, have never been seen on a table top before!

    Lots of impressive entries there!

Voted quickly this time around, to save me the prolonged agony I experienced last time. A bit easier with three choices as well.

    Good luck all!

The dragon, red-stripes and huntress were hand-painted..... I'm in awe of such talent. And of course, the rigging...There are some people here who would make excellent microsurgeons.

The mega-pixel camera is unforgiving, every one of those models, without exception, would look good on a gaming table.

  13. #13

    Thumbs up

Wow! There are some awesome models in that line up.
    Many entrants deserve to Win.

Well done, all! Clearly the bar is set to an exceedingly high level!

Its also interesting to see the differences in manufacturer's planes.

Well, what can I say? Some surperb work there all. I am so glad to see so many entries, regardless of quality.

    Well done chaps! (and chapettes)

Well done everyone. Not a plane in the bunch that I would not be proud to put on the table. Serious skills being exhibited here.

I have to say I am pleasantly surprised at the simplicity of the historical designs chosen. And before anyone jumps down my throat, I do not mean the painting quality. I shyed away from the large number of schemes which were covered in red, white and blue, or green, white and red as I thought these were obvious choices. I am also surprised to see only one Italian scheme. No matter, good luck to all.

Wow, this is awesome. 18 diffrent Nieuport 17. I would love to see them all on a gaming table over the trenches meeting the swarm of Albatros DIII from the last challenge Very good job everybody and good luck!

That's one bar we don't want at a high level - I'm not that tall...

Whilst the top two picked themselves, I spent ages on the third place which just goes to show how the entries are improving towards the top end of the contest each time.

shared the entries with my classes today. just to show you how good they all look, each class (5) had a diferent favorite and there were always at least 4 or 5 entries within one or two votes of the class winner. I'll bet you'll never guess which two entries the boys liked the best in each class and which two entries the girls wouldn't vote for. Here's a hint: they are the same two entries. I love eighth graders. :embarass:

Again, a very tough contest to vote for; the 3 votes made it a bit easier.
Interesting the number of captured Neuports painted.
Is it my imagination, or were the Skytrex entries rather rough (more so that the Shapeways?)
    Great job, everyone.

    Thanks for the votes, everyone.

Herr Oberst, are the contenders supposed to make a thread with the photos of their entry like after the Albatros D.III challenge contest?
