Book Title: Biplanes, Triplanes and Seaplanes
Author: Michael Sharpe
ISBN: 1-897884-68-0
Category: Reference
Format: Paperback
Summary: It is a guide of biplanes, triplanes and seaplanes from 1900 to 1945. 300 aircraft are featured. A page consists of one color plate of the aircraft 10 to 12 lines of narrative and then specifics (country, powerplant, dimensions, ect).
I'm glad that I bought the book used ($3 USD)than full MSRP. I found the book somewhat useful. My major dissapointment is that only 72 of the 300 aircraft are used in WW1. Another dissapointment is that there are four pages on the Fairey Swordfish and 6 pages on the Bre. 19 and none on some of the major aircraft of WW1 like the Albatros D.III.
