Yes indeed, they will be part of my late war No.3 Squadron RAAF which fought in North Africa, Sicily and Italy.

The squadron used the P-40 until they were replaced by the P-51, of which I also have some ready for repainting.

Then I can finally get back to finishing the WGS campaign for the unit I started writing in 2013. So much to do, so little time....

They are just the Australian aircraft to paint, I also have to finish three AIM SM79s and three AIM BR.20s, as well as some Bf 109s and Martin 167s for the Regia Aeronautica, Luftwaffe and Vichy French.

I was going to buy AIM 109s but now we have the 'real' thing I will convert some JG2 aircraft to JG27 'Afrika'.

Yeppers! Bits are bagged, I will go through them and check, I can also swap out my bits, they have not been punched out . . . Sounds rather strange to say that . . . : )

Got a nice package on my doorstep yesterday...

(note: All 4 prop discs are included, I only had 1 on for these pictures)

Awesome quality. Very sturdy all around. No worries about breaking anything on this through normal careful use.

Do yourselves a favour and get one!

    Already did!

Two, actually - one of the "camo" 1/214 scale beasties, then a tan 1/144

    Nice photos!

    Nice!
That dark colour was my first choice but wasn't available when I got mine last year.
I "settled" for the tan one.

Love the paint jobs! Still don't get the plane mix. Is there anything in the available BRS product line that matches up with the P-51? An Me-109K box?

Not on the horizon, these are a bit smaller than 1/200 scale although they claim otherwise . . . too much difference on the table for my liking . . . but I am a bit "out there" . . .

Ok Zeppelin fans, I am planning a new build this spring. I have taken on an assistant to help keep the elves in line, so thinking on 10 at the moment. Any interest out there, 1/144" scale Type P. Thinking June whilst Mrs. Clipper is away with the grands = a few all nighters. Cost will be $200 as they were last time, postage extra. Cheers!

You mean, a kit which I would (gasp) have to assemble and (gasp) paint, myself? Like, work which I enjoy a lot?

I will need to buy a little crew and armament set.
I proudly showed off my Zeppelin around in several conferences, game cons and shows, but I later discovered in horror that some of that brave men fell on duty during these missions alas.
