I am sorry to hear your fingers and hands are fading. I have heaps of patience. I just hope I do not miss out, especially if these will be the last coming out of the shop.
im sorry to hear about your fingers dave. i can empathize as ive been having some issues with mine intermittently.
i definitely want to be on the list for one.
My latest purchase arrived safely today. Thanks again Dave!
NEWS FLASH! THE ZEPPELINS ARE READY, ARE YOU?"
Elf Intel spots a flock!
Zooming in, details!
Yes, you counted correctly 6. To add to the news, I have lost my list of requests and many have moved to other interests. So here is the plan . . .
All are 1/144" scale (over 42" long) L-11 Type P Zeppelins in camouflage
The price is $250 USD, instructions, management cards, bases with telescoping stands
Shipping firstclass costs, custom made box US $30, overseas $40
So here is the deal. PM me if you are really interested by July 15. All names will be placed in my hat, the first 6 names drawn will be very happy, the others not so much. Good luck and thanks for your support over the years! Cheers!
PM sent! Awesome looking!
Superb!
Just superb!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Beautiful work, Dave!
Thanks for your one-man crusade to bring 1:144 zeppelins to the gaming table!
I have no idea where it's going to live when it's not at the table, but PM sent for a chance at one of those beauties!
My build diary says the elves started this batch in May of 2019. 10 were planned, foam reserves allowed for only 8. The the hands began to bring issues to the shop. 2 hulls were sidelined with delamination bringing the core build to 6. The delamination was solved on the 2 but were too far out of step they linger awaiting an uncertain future, however the 6 were brought to completion the first week of July 2020. So it was just over a year start to finish. Other voices (vices?) calling . . . Thanks for your encouragement, a smaller size may echo your brilliant 1/288 printed masterpiece .one day . . .

PM sent to you, Dave, about the Zeppelins. Fingers crossed that I am lucky on Wednesday, July 15th ... Or whenever Dave gets out his hat.
No matter who gets them! They are amazing Dave. I am sure everyone appreciates them!
They are incredible! I know that whoever acquires them will be jumping with joy. A lot of work has gone into the other two, so I hope you are able to eventually salvage them, and make two more Aerodrome members very happy.
So, no hat required after all! And the names are:
Camelbeagle, Driph, Milcoll, Hawkeye and Scott! Thanks for playing. I have ordered the box materials and set the elves to making suitable shipping cases. I will contact you each as they are ready to ship! Be very worried England!!!!
OMG OMG OMG! THANKS!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!
Oh wow, I'm thrilled!
Time to deep dive into Zeppelins... David, is this latest batch based on a particular existing Zeppelin, or one of your own creation?
I am over the moon! Ive wanted one of these since I first saw you making them available almost a decade ago. I dont always check the Aérodrome site. I will make efforts to do so until the sale is finalized. If I seem MIA after you try to contact me through this site, please try Scott <underscore> Schelter <at> yahoo <dot> com
Thank You!
So the last one sold and I am going to send the last Zeppelin to England! . . . irony or history? Thanks all, its been a lot of fun builds!
Super awesome clipper! Trying to figure out a great place for it to dock at.
I've appreciated watching the master builder creating these beauties, and I've enjoyed reading, and completely relating to the excitement expressed by their lucky new owners. Congrats to all from an envious onlooker. And it is very fitting that one of them will find a new home in England.
So now I have successfully requeted number six Zeppelin and am soooo happy about that. Many thanks David. I wonder if the last two, unfinished models, will be such a big temptation for those elves of yours, that they will indeed make it to completion one fine day in the not too distant future. Take care now,
Mike
i am ready

I have my hanger ready for it.
Boxes to be delivered today, elves are awaiting them anxiously! Not long now!
The 1/144% Solution? I have excavated a few boxes of 1/144" scale WWII and Jets! Maybe the future is in a different scale? there are hundreds of !/144" scale kits out there which will play well with our game cards . . . that PTO is not too far away and then there's jet confilcts too! Here's a taste of what I have in my collection that is needing to find new homes, prices to follow if there is interest
and if you are into B-52 action . . .
Send me a list of what you are looking for and I will check the boxes! Many duplicates of each plane! Enjoy . . . .
Clipper, That will be some amazing air force when you get those completed. Can't wait to see the work unfold. Those elves are going to be busy!
Glad I don't have a stash of unpainted models....I only have a few hundred WWI airplanes, a couple hundred WW2 airplanes, a few thousand ACW 15mm figures, a few thousand WW2 15mm figures, hundreds of 15mm tanks and vehicles, many thousands 15mm Napoleonics, thousands of 15mm SYW...
Some of us build planes... Clipper has entire BOMB WINGS waiting. Seriously, any more B-52's and he could reopen Boeing Wichita in miniature... :P
Hysterical. I actually wrote software for the B-52 in Wichita. Many many moons ago.
Clipper, seriously... I don’t even know what to say. I thought Flying Helmut was the King of “I’ll just pick up 27 of these and Never know when you might need 18 of these..”
Damn dude

I crashed the 50th Birthday party in Wichita. Three old BUF's, a ramp full of Cold Warriors and one crazy college student with a harebrained SLEP idea a prof who flew F-106s and I had hatched... a bird rebuilt to our full concept spec would make Dale Brown's hotrods look like the original 1940s Boeing 464 proposal by comparison.
Yeah,
I've given up ever trying to get one of these. I suppose I'll have to break down and order one from Red Eagle in the UK. That is if they still make them.
For crying out loud, I live in the same state and I cannot even get one.
I mean, it's not like I've been asking to get one for the last Seven or so years now.
OH well, its not in the cards its not in the cards.
Cricky dude, I did this build because you wanted one! Then you went walkabout! I have 2 hulls unfinished . . .
Dave, a suggestion if you think the last two can be made viable... maybe after Daniel's, talk to Herr Oberst about raffling off "The Last of the Clipper Masterpieces" as a fundraiser? I've long wanted one of these myself, but I never had budget and now that I have budget I don't have space.
Another suggestion... I don't know which stage gives you the most trouble, but have you ever considered offering "Assemble Your Own" kits?
For Gary
