On behalf of Gandalfo 71, the announcement of a new meeting for WWI Wings of Glory enthusiastic wingmen.

Not a tournament but a fun day with three scenarios to play inspired to"Flying Boys".

My congratulations to Sergio for his creativity and passion in organizing this events.

The new born Ludica ApuanAssociation (ALA) is organizing the 8 ° Trophy "City of Massa" Wingsof Glory WWI: this time it will be a non-tournament, i.e. a day of fun withoutthe worry of making points or position in the standings.

On February 5, 2012 we meet atTurimar in Marina di Massa at 10 a.m. to spend a day together with thepossibility to exchange ideas about the game, the rules, to show our modelsmodified or repainted, admire the squadrons flying in a climate of friendshipas in previous editions.

Inspired by the movie"Flyboys" two squadrons, one of Fokker DRI and one of Nieuport, willcompete in three scenarios:

• a first dogfight with free quota (bring many "pirulini") and an ace skill for each pilot;
• the second will see the squadron of Nieuport try to prevent a bombing mission over strategic objectives by a group of gotha escorted by fokker;
• in the third, as in the movie, a zeppelin (!) is close to bomb Paris, and our heroic squadron (as the legendary Lafayette?) will have to fight until perhaps the supreme sacrifice in order to prevent it.

You will need to bring onlyFokker DRI and Nieuport to play, but almost obligatory for all other exposure(we set a record of aircraft on display at an event) bring many"pirulini" (= the quota holders) in the first scenario will serve asmany as the maximum altitude of the aircraft plus one (fokker 13 +1, Nieuport12 +1)
The registration fee is € 10

It’s expected lunch buffet ata fixed price of 12 euro (welcome confirmation in advance) Þ the complexTurimar is easily reachable: A12 autostrada exit Massa, just outside the exitkeep right, at the first roundabout first exit to the sea, at the nextroundabout (the one with the fountain in the middle) the first right exittowards Carrara, made 50 meters you have arrived on the left (the complex is inthe pine forest)
