    Book Title:
Manfred von Richthofen - Ace Profiles #3
    Author:
    James F. Miller
    ISBN:
    978-0-9555977-3-2
    Category:
    Reference
    Format:
    Paperback
    Summary:
I received my copy of this book late last week and have read it through. It's a good read with a lot of photos and color profiles. The cover and pages are of heavy weight and feel really nice. I constantly was double checking to make sure I had only turned one page at a time because the interior pages were so thick!

The appendices have some nice tables of all kinds of stats for MvR. It's nice to have all of that info in a single, handy place.

I would recommend this book to others.

I ordered my copy from RZM.com hear in the US. In the UK, you can get it directly from airpowereditions.com

The last image shows all of the different profile what are in the book, but they are not grouped together like that.

Sorry about that Karl, I'm a little dyslexic this morning. It should have been RZM.com I've fixed it in the first post.

what are the other two red painted planes from the pics.. the Dr1 is obvious but I am not sure on the others..

There are 7 different DR.I profiles for planes that he flew and 11 different Albatros profiles (D.Is through D.Vs). The other two planes in the sample page images above are a Roland D.III and his personal transport, a Albatros C.IX (one of only 3 made). It was painted all red by the factory for him.

I can say that if they produce more Ace Profile books in the WWI line, I'll buy them the day the come out.

awesome Keith.. thanks.. I really like the looks of that Albatros.. I'll have to look for it and see if I can do a model for it.. I'd love to see that in a game.. lol.. wonder what the stats on that would be for our game of choice here..
