Default Trivia Quiz #18: Aces- Do you know their faces?

At long last, the Trivia Quizzes have returned.

We have decided to make one change to the process. We will no longer ask the winner to create the next quiz. All of the Trivia questions will come from a limited pool of forum personnel.

-Do Not Post your answers to this thread.

Send them via PM to: usmc1855 or e-mail to: brian_hicks@usa.net

I will respond to each submission privately, confirming their receipt. The winner will be announced on Sunday, 14 January, 2011.

This quiz will be open form 1 to 13 January.

I knew it would be tough, but if it was too easy, it wouldn't b a challenge.

Is it a "one winner" contest (the fastest = the best), or several users may get an equal win if they mail equally good answers in different time?

I use two criteriia. Speed of reply, and accuracy. ie. The first to reply may have 70% correct, while a reply that comes in next week may be the first to have 90%, and that 90% is the highest score. The 90% wins. But..... if the highest I ever get is 70%, the first to reply with the highest score wins. In the unlikely event of a tie score, I will ask the tieing winners for additional info, in this case of Aces, perhaps number of Victories, or what squadrons they had been assigned to, what aircrafg they flew, etc.

    Brian,
For further clarification, will you accept multiple entries? I have 7 confirmed IDs at the moment; if I submit them now does that freeze me out from updating later?

I'll allow a brief window after the initial submission to allow for a correction of errors. I know it is easy to transpose numbers and names when creating a list, so I'll allow 15 minutes from initial submission, to final submission to allow for a correction of errors.
Other than that, it's all in.

I've received several submissions, but so far no one has hit the 100% accuracy mark, so there is still room for someone to grab the clear winning position!

There are quite a few of those to collect Bob. I've got 13 and that is not all of them by any means. Then there are all the photos in various biographys.
