"Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death."
My first three shapeways aircraft - fortunately hot water put one of them back into shape - Two Tom Clancy books, a Dragon 1/72 AAV7 & Hummer for FoF, Flashpoint for the 360 & Senna DVD (thanks son) and 14months of Xbox Live Gold. Did I say how much I love my wife ?!
"He is wise who watches"
a kindle, band of brothers box set, pacific box set, general war dvd's and NO SOCKS OR BOXERS
Actually... All I got Wings related was some cash for purchasing the bombers set next month....
I got a 1/6th scale Nieuport 28C-1 from BalsaUSA. (!!!)
Actually its a big box of sticks and an instruction manual.
Heaven!
Now I just need to learn to fly before I have it put together.
Merry Christmas to all and I hope you all got the planes you wanted.
Richard (The Count)
Of my WOW related gifts, I was floored when I received a WWI Revised Deluxe Set. I thought I lost my chance on getting one.
I also got 2 German WOW planes. An LFG Roland C. II and an Albatros D. VA.
The only wargames related item I got was a copy of Norman Friedman's new book on WW1 naval weapons. Other than that a blu ray player and AV receiver to go with the new telly, a million socks and some decent new gloves (likely to be very useful in a month or so!). The house is also strewn with hex bots, Skylanders and piles of children's books and novels oh, and Laura got a rolling pin and a chocolatiere - not normal presents for a 10 year old )
My kids agreed to play WOW 1x/day for the next week !!!! Wow !
From my wife, a WWI aviation book (Color Profiles of WWWI combat Aircraft). From the kids, A burning wreck cart wheeling into the ground, again.
All in all, a wonderful Christmas, books and family gaming.
Due to some interesting mix-ups with an Amazon.com wishlist, I have three identical French Breguet 14s, one American Breguet 14, and a Rumpler. Now I can fly a flight of them against my daughter and see how she fares against them. Also, two Osprey books, one on the early German aces and one on Jasta Boelcke. Merry Christmas all!
No WoG Stuff except what I have purchased myself & will pick up at Cancon plus some Aerodrome Accessories stuff.
However the Family were most generous as apart from the Tiger Moth Flight (still to come!) I got the Senna DVD, a Inspector Banks DVD, big carton of Dilmah Italian Almond Tea bags, Bottle of Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce, a Twinings Teas Corgi Model T Van, Nice pair Leather sandals, More Tea in a Tin, Shortbread Biscuits, my flight to Qld & assorted other small items. Santa was generous so I must have been fairly good.
I got blankets, towels, dishtowels and washcloths... Gift cards for Walmart, slippers, and a gently used washer and dryer. Can you tell I am getting ready to move???

Hah! Forced by circumstance into WOW WWII! Gave my sister in law a want list with the Big WOW sale from a couple weeks ago and ended up with a Zero, Hurricane, 109 and Spitfire, and a spare Bregeut 14.
Best Sister in Law ever!
I got.... the love of my family, a Polish WWII 1/144 Pzl that's just plain unavailable here from Nightbomber, and a cup-sized christmas pudding.
I got a Rumpler, Aces faliing, Bloody April, Battleground by W.E.B, gritffin, Vol. IB, the Corps novel, New Watch a Casio, and 120$ to spend on ney toys.
Since my dear missus is still a bit shy on buying WoG related stuff over the Net, I got lots of love and WoG unrelated gifts from her. Having a great time here in snowy hills.... Rescued a lost puppy yesterday and found his owner by sheer coincidence. Poor lil' thing decided we were his saviours, followed us for the whole day... As it turned out, he was right... Felt real good, too.
Filled the missing part myself and got me a Short Bomber, Caudron G.4, two Airco D.H.2 and an Albatros D.Iii as my second batch of 3D printed models - arrived on dec. 23rd! Talk about perfect timing! All in perfect shape. Plus Peter Kilduff's excellent "Red Baron" digital book.
Jure
Two Shapeways aircraft, a Renaissance rule book and supplements, a load of Spanish Civil war figures and a box set of 'The Pacific'.

grumpy enjoy your mat. I have been using one of theirs for some time now. I also have one I bought to play naval battles. They cost but are worth the price. Have a happy and safe New Year.
Four DoW fighters (Hurricane, Wildcat, Zero, & Bf109) plus a Val dive bomber along with the Fire from the Sky box set and, to expand my addiction into WWI territory, the Watch your Back WoW box set. Thanks Fantasy Flight sale!
A very Nexus Christmas!
I gave my kids some neat stuff, including what is going to be a horribly addictive collectible miniatures game for their PS3. Yes, old tech meets new. The guys who designed this game deserve an award.
For my wife, two books on the Titanic and a cd of music played on same.
Me? The best thing was probably a check, that I'm going to spend on 3d printables.
1) The Red Dr.I 1:28 Revell model (coool).
2) "Zimna Wojna 1945-1989" - a famous "Twilight Struggle 1945-1989" GMT boardgame - new Polish Edition (woooow!).
3) Beckham Intimately (a perfume... to make our barmaid ... interested?)
Andrzej.
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."

Will have to sneakly buy myself some more toys
Well done mates!
I received some much needed clothes (I never buy for myself), DVDs and a few games my kids want to play. The greatest gift was having all of my siblings (with their kids), parents and my kids together for Christmas. A packed house to be sure!
My wife offered me the Revised WoW WW1 Deluxe Edition. What else there is to say? The best part is that she will play it with me.
Lucky you Joaquim! Time for gaming is time well spent!
