Some profiles to inspire you. The classic paint scheme is moss green/ red-brown/dark-green on wings and tail, and varnished wood (described as "warm yellow" on the fuselage. Sky blue underneath.

So this is one that you can put nearly any colour scheme on, and still be likely to be accurate.

The internal redesign of the fuselage and lower wing, combined with a more powerful engine and improved nose, re-vitalised this aircraft. Not as manouverable as most aircraft of 1918, but up there in armament, altitude, climb and dive rate.
It also provides even more colour schemes.
