Those of you who don't follow The Vintage Aviator's Facebook page closely may have missed the announcements that this coming weekend we'll be seeing the public debuts of two new (full size) WW1 fighters take to the air: Fokker D.VIII and Sopwith Snipe!!!
Both aircraft are powered by rotaries. In the case of the Snipe it's an original Bently BR.2 while the D.VIII is powered by one of TVAL's 'new-build' Oberusel UR.II reproduction engines :-)
Checkout our HAFU Facebook page for some extra photos, and click here to find a nice desktop wallpaper image of the Snipe. More photos and videos to come over the next couple of weeks....:-)
Cheers
Allan
