This past weekend, I ran a Wings of War (Glory) table at Hurricon in Orlando Florida, which was hosted by HMGS South. It was a good showing, for there were 16 people at the table, three quarters being novices or newbies. As I ran the game, there were many more that were interested in joining, but lack of the ability to get a chair up to the table limited this. All planes that were flown were of WOW origin, save for a Skytrex Gotha. It was a escorted by a pair of Rolands, two DR1’s, D7, and an Albatross. They were jumped by Camels, Spads, RE8a’s and a Snipe. The allies managed to shoot the bomber down, but not before it dropped some of it’s bombs, and leveled the fuel tanks.
I wish to thank Banana Steve for bringing Some of the Aerodrome Accessories: the Damage Deck Caddie, it was a big hit, the Rotary Card Holders, and the Prototype of the D7 card holder. Of course the lady flying the D7 used that! That got plenty of attention! Thanxs again Steve!
