"Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death."
So far I've got 6 but there's more on the way
With the ones still in production.... ULP.... 69.
Must start giving some away as presents.
When I receive my current order I will have over 30.
Will have 27 when my current order arrives in a few weeks.
None here - I am sticking to Skytrex and official minis at present.
None here either - I prefer the official miniatures, too.
I haven't bitten that cheese yet... Afraid to be unable to stop when I do. Still have a lot of paper and the original WoW to buy before I go that way... But if they start make WW2 planes at 1/200 scale, I might loose control...
You mean like this 1/200 Bf-109 Emil?
http://www.shapeways.com/model/37717...t_bf_109f.html
Yes. Luckily I already own 4 me-109's so I could stay away from it.
But if they start making other models, I might need to be hand-cuffed...
And Zoe, do - not - tease - me...
My latest order arrived at the nearby UPS sorting facility at 5:20am, and was put on a truck to go out for delivery at 6:04am. Yes, today is going to be one of those work days that just drags.
OK, I won't draw your attention to the "Luftwaffe 1946" models in 1/200 then. Ones like this, the Junkers EF-128:
Seeing you're not interested, nor likely to request the designers make any more types. I mean, it's not as if girls ever tease boys, is it? (she says sweetly)
Zoe, I'm your fan!
L'46 is a field of my interest.
There is one of my models in profile's album: Dornier Pfeil 2 seater a "what if" nightfigter.

Click!! Hand secured to the bed by the handcuffs. Check. Keys flying through the window. Check.
Yes Zoe?! Please do proceed...
I'm one of the many who don't actually own any. That doesn't mean to say I wouldn't consider one, if it was the right plane for me.
I'm at a cross-roads, as to whether or not I deviate towards 'non-WoW' planes/products.
The only annoying thing about buying through shapeways is the customs and brokerage fees that always get charged. On average 25%. (From Holland) . I heard rumour that they will set up in the USA in NY? Anyone heard about that? This will greatly help..
For the most part they sure open up variety. The material is very rough however and requiries so TLC to make right. Hats off to the two main designers out there for great subjects!
Reverisco one-tinsoldier has great items as well.
The decals John does are amazing as well.
I love the Luft 46 subjects. In 1/144 I have over 80 different ones mostly from Anigrand. 1:200 might be a great scale for these particularly in the medium to larger subjects. I would buy them..
Greetings, all,
being as I am on the far-side of the world from my collection, I could not do a physical inventory but.. by my best estimates, I currently have 35 Shapeways models (about half painted) and will be ordering another 20 (or s) to round out my collection once my tour here is done. That is if Kampfflieger and Collinwe don't keep creating more "must haves"!
Chris Maes
With my order I now have 22 shapeways mins, and prefer them to Reversco or Skytrex and I am not that good at building metal models (ok hopeless) but I still prefer WoG miniatures, for that reason I tend only to buy aircraft that I think ARES will never produce or that I cannot wait any longer for (eg DH2 and Focker EIII). So at least7 are float planes and seaplanes the majority being early war types.
I voted none, back a year and a half ago. Now it's 101 plus 2 racks of crew
Karl
7 completed (2x Albatros D.Is and 5x Albatros D.IIs), 1 prepped (Breguet Br.M5) and about a dozen laying about...
zero. and since they chose to raise there prices at just the time i was starting to get a bit interested in them (ive got at least 1 of each type of the official minis except the rumpler) my interest level has, well
I now have lots more than 30, but only 11 completed so far.
i dont have any and i dont foresee me getting any since they raised their prices just as i was thinking about looking at getting some.
I have three models: Two Bristol M1C's and a Sopwith Dolphin but I have not painted them yet. I also bought some spare Lewis guns.
Need a Zero option.
(and I don't mean A6M)
Need a "Given Up Counting" option......
Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!
At least 25 painted with another 75+ in reserve! (WWI planes) I also have a couple dozen space ships for SBF.

Nine aircraft with none painted or decalled, plus observers with guns and pilots.
30+ now
Surprisingly I only have about 20 but then I have a "Lot" of Ares & Nexus Aircraft.
I resemble that comment... ...having bought a number* of the (extremely well done) hangar trays from Keith, I discovered that my original estimates were somewhat in error. I have a lot of Ares/Nexus aircraft.
Can't, for the life of me, figure out where they all came from...? That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
* I'm no longer counting aircraft. Not even the hangar trays are subject to counting.

A small part of my collection.
Very impressive, Zoe!
I have none as they require painting, which I’m not comfortable with... not good enough to be honest.
However, the quality does seem to have improved of late and some of the folk on here have done some amazing paint jobs.
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
Pick the right subject, and painting is pretty easy.
Decalling - get those from someone else if you aren't comfy making your own.

update; ive got one. an eindecker a friend gave me after he got frustrated with it.
Gad, what a difference 10 years make. I don't have a count, but I'm guessing close to 100

Of course, I think the original questions Keith had with this poll was how well received SW planes were for WoG.
And the answer is certainly yes!
