Was zero when I responded to this poll years ago.
Now up to a massive 14!
(5 of which have actually been painted and made it to the table)

The way things are going with Ares I am sure this number will increase.

Given the restrictions of posting outside the USA that will come in in June/July my advice is buy , buy, Buy as Ares are not going to produce anything "new" in the next decade
and the selection of older planes is quite something.

I'm learning to fly, but I ain't got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing

I’m prepping 18 at the moment and have another 6 not needed short term (Italian theatre or later war). Likely to rise when Shapeways do their next deal on postage but I’ve enough to keep me busy plus Ares reprints etc. I’m slow at painting and easily distracted!

I think my Shapeways models came from Holland so US posting not an issue

I agree that my last order to the UK last month came from the Netherlands. Even so, had there not been a deal the postage would have stopped me ordering - I think it would have been £17.20. I still spent a lot but I got a decent number of aircraft out of it.

Yes, Shapeways postage Netherlands -> U.K. is usually £20 or more for me; free postage offers are a real boon.

Why do all these polls say that I have already voted in them?

The pole says I vote on this? No for the record I have 8.

I currently have 0 Shapeways planes but it looks like I’ll have to bite the bullet and order a few if I want to fly certain planes like the Sopwith Triplane within the next ten years It’s not that I have anything against Shapeways, I just prefer having the official planes especially since they come with all the accessories to fly them, particularly the maneuver decks.

I started getting Shapeways planes for aircraft Ares did not do but more recently have ended up getting some that Ares has not reprinted (yet) e.g. DH.2, Fokker E.III, Halberstadt D.II/III as well as more 1916-17 planes for the OTT campaigns.
