Default Red Arrow Crashes at Bournemouth

One of the Red Arrows Hawks has gone down at Bournemouth and the pilot is reported dead. Very sad news indeed.

From the news it seems Flight Lieutenant Jon Egging could have ejected safely but rather chose to steer his falling bird away from houses and people before attempting to do so. Then it was too late...

    May he rest in peace.

A sad loss! He died doing what he loved and protecting the innocent on the ground! Could there be a more fitting eulogy!

I am left without words worthy of a man who passed from this earth a hero. Would it be impractical for us to organize a small collection to send flowers to the family from the site in condolence of the loss?
