What did you use for the Lewis Gun? It looks great.

From my reply to the simple conversion thread:
"If you want a 1/144 Lewis gun then order the Japanese 7.7mm MG from Ozmods. they are the same with a round magazine on top and are a very fine representation of a Lewis.
They are NOT listed on his website BUT he does sell them!

The Lewis was scratch built. It is the smallest thing I have ever done. I cut the gun shape out of plasticard. Drilled it out with a No 80 drill for the fixing holes, and turned down a bit of plastic from a flack rod for the drum. I then bent a bit of wire for the slide and a spot of super glue finished it off. it will be a long time before I hand build another!

You could have just saved what is left of both my eyesight and my sanity here Peter. I will certainly explore your contact re getting a few of those in for the future.

Very nice Can we see a comparison shot of the SPAD VII beside a SPAD XIII? because i'm not sure how you reshaped the wings and tail.

No problem Daniel. That's what we are all here for. Anyway it has given me an idea to add plans to any future conversions that I post. So thank you.

Amazing! Love it! It almost seems a shame to deform something like that, but you turned it into something even better!

    Thanks Hunter.
I didn't turn a hair about converting it. Spads have been two a penny over here until recently. You can still get some of them in most places.

Again very nice work. Looking at the in process pics, I was thinking the SPAD would make a nice monoplane. Wonder why they never tried it?

    Hi Karl.
I lifted this straight off the e-mail they sent back to me. I shall look at their other 1/144 ranges tpo make up the difference, or just buy the whole lot of guns and make them available to you lads at cost price.

Rob, if I could stand, it would be in awe of your artistic talent. If your flying abilities are just half of your artistic abilities...well, we CP pilots, seien Sie in der ernsten Mühe! Gehen Sie auf uns, bitte einfach!

I wonder why the official mini dont have the serrated tail as is shown in all the pics ? Seems a bit too much of an error
