The Front

[The Blue Baron]

Friday we played the mission The Front (you can find in the download section). With 8 planes the gaming area was really crowded. But afterwards we played it a second time with only one fighter and one two-seater at each side and it was really fun!

A friend and I played the Germans and The Eagle of the Lower Rhine and another player played the Entente side. We decided to play defensive and to stop the fighter first and attack the two-seater afterwards. Till we accomplished that they had destroyed half of our ground targets and our two seater. After that it was my part to attack the opponents ground target with my Fokker to score enough points to win the mission. Allthough the opponents had no planes left they had a lot of fun guessing where I would fly and trying to take me out using their FLAK. In the end I could take out the AA guns and the FLAK scorring a very norrow victory for the Germans. (My plane only had one point of "life" left!)

But the most important point was that all four of us had a great time!
