Interesting side-note re the -190: There were not only fighter (air superiority) models, but attack-bomber and torpedo-bomber models; so, in theory, had the Germans gotten an aircraft carrier squared away, they could have equipped it with Fighters, Attack-Bombers, and Torpedo-Bombers all using the same airframe and engine....
Man that is freaky watching it take off, it looks like the prop is barely turning!!

Just camera image in synchronous action. The camera is taking pictures of a blur fast enough to make out the blades of the prop. You used to see a lot of this in 8mm and 16mm movie cameras. This is why you see what looks like the prop is going slow and reversing direction type things.

That is some great video!
There will be one flying here in Virginia Beach before to long also! The Military Aviation Museum Fw-190 has been in Germany for restoration and has arrived at the Fighter Factory hanger! They also have two ME-109`s under restoration!

The big air show at the Museum is in three weeks i hope they have it together by then. Flying i doubt it but in one piece would be nice!

Thank you! I have yet to se it fly! When i was at the museum last week someone told me that a 190 D9 was being restored for them! Here are some shots o took last week.

Update on the Museums FW-190 A8 N.
The museums 190 is a new FlugWerk build! They have a real A somewhere being restored and a another FW also!
