Silver Balloon, what is the deal?

Hello All,
Maybe somebody can clear this up. I recently placed an order for a silver/gray balloon on ebay. When I received it was brown. I contacted the seller and they are going to refund my money. I also contacted 2 hobby shops,and they told me that they have only ever had either brown or yellow balloons. If you go to ebay and look at the balloons you will find a set on auction that is silver. What gives? Was this a promo picture they are showing, or was there a silver balloon produced?

Yes - I think it's a promo picture.

The de Giubert balloon is brown.

WWII barage balloons were silver/grey - maybe the artist was thinking of these.

Dave's correct. I bought a "buy it now" price Balloon Buster set from ebay (for the camo N16). The picture was of a Silver/gray balloon. Upon receipt it was the same N16 but Brown balloon. I was cool with it as that was period correct as stated by Dave.

The silver balloon was a promo picture that FFG was using for a while.
