    Default Fokker A.III vs E.III

Okay, I need a little help here...what is the difference between the "A" and "E" Fokkers? My quick research is showing that the "A" type was an unarmed recon craft while the "E" was armed...however; in WoW the plane cards make no differentiation between the two...well, except for nationality. Any input is appreciated...

No difference at all - A.III was the designation in *Austro-Hungarian* service for the E.III. (A was indeed an unarmed recce plane under the German designation system, but the Fokker A.III in this case wasn't a German designation.)

[Edit] From a quick check the A.III may have referred to all A-H Eindekkers, not just the E.III type, which is, umm, odd. Not a major difference anyway, but the main point stands - the A.III is an Austro-Hungarian Eindekker fighter, not the original German A.III, which wasn't really produced (I think they made a grand total of 5....) before being ditched and modified into the E series fighters.
