    Default Quatermaster at Tabletopflights.com

    Hello everyone!

I am excited to announce that I have re-launched the www.tabletopflights.com website. There you will be able to find some of the following, information on our online live streams, there is a list of most of the WWI and WWII aircraft that I can 3d print, and coming soon full store front to make ordering items a lot easier. Currently I am work with a "Order by Email" model which works, but a pain for all people involved. At this point everything is print on demand so there will be a short lead time for the production element of the order. It is my goal to produce the best quality model at the lowest cost possible as quickly as possible. With that said from time to time a pause in order may be necessary to catch up if I happen to fall behind. Shipping is flat rate based on the size of the USPS box that I will need to use. International shipping is available also. For the time being I am using PayPal for payment. Payments will be due after the production but before shipping. If there is ever an issue with any order I will do what is needed to make it right.

I am looking forward to expanding my customer base!

    Thank You in advance

    Mike

Interesting concept, though it would have been better with Merlin-Packards.

I'll definitely be looking you up, after I get the backlog of SW and AiM painted.
On the plus side, I'll be getting a knee replaced at the end of September, so will have a bunch of time off to paint.

Another great looking print Mike! Thanks for including the props as part of the model and not separate installation.

Thinking whimsically...now if he could only print some in color as well....

Sorry to burst your bubble but the props are removable and have to be glued in, on the good side is each prop has a mounting shaft to make it a lot easier. As for color, there is not much I can do about that one.

No problem Mike. Glad they have a mounting shaft! The color was definitely whimsical, you are doing great with the non-color ones!

    Great!
The two problems I have encountered with 3D prints with fixed-in printed props are
    a) the prop is sometimes fixed to the cowling ring, and paint spills readily from one to the other
    b) when several planes in the same squadron are placed side by side the prop orientation is always identical, and this looks weird to me

2 of the reasons I use spinning props!

Makes sense Tim, I hadn't thought about the props being in the same orientation.

Here is the Knoller C.II both with and without the prop installed. I print them in separate so that it is easier to paint and allow to the prop to be install later.

Mike, a question about the website...
I'd like the URLs embedded into Wings of Linen to direct the user directly to the plane in question, or at least to the nationality (e.g. a page of Austro-Hungarian planes). I can get there by clicking through the site. But the only URL I can seem to get out of the website is the top page: https://www.tabletopflights.com. That makes the URL-link on the WIKI pretty unspecific, "somewhere on this website you can find the plane you're looking for".

Is there a way to get to a more specific URL?

Let me look for a better one. I have been learning how to build this website as I go and still learning. I will have an answer for you shortly.

Here is the biggest I have printed. I had to print this on my FDM printer due to the size of this thing. The quality is not quite as good as resin but not bad for a tabletop game piece.

Just saw this. I have a number of Mike's planes, and they are great. You will not be disappointed by his prints. He is very picky. I forgot one word so have to correct what I said.
