AAR The Wright Flight April 13th, 2024 Dayton, Ohio
The Wright Flight took to the skies again on a beautiful April day. In attendance was Darryl (predhead), Ray (The G Dog), Marc, Mike, Chris, Rudy, and Myself.
Our first mission was a recon mission for the British. They had three Sopwith Camels and a RAF RE8 versus two Albatros D.Va and a Pfalz Triplane.
Here is the fierce black Albatros D.Va.
Here is the Pfalz and the other Albatros.
Here are the recon target. The randomly chosen target for recon was the truck in the middle of the mat. Now, this mission objective was not known to the Germans.

Here is the other Sopwith Camel and the RAF RE8.
And of course, we all meet in the middle of the game mat and get mixed up.
That sneaky Pfalz has a tail!
The Pfalz stuck to the RE8 pretty hard!
One of the Sopwith Camels caught up and manage to drive the Pfalz off of the RAF RE8.
The RAF RE8 unfortunately flew off the board on the German side. Captured!
The black Albatros got one of the Sopwith Camels in its gun sites!
Down goes the Sopwith Camel
The remaining fighters continue to fight!
The other Albatros fled the board.
The two Sopwith Camels fled. The black Albatros was too far from the action to catch up. We called this mission here.
German Victory!
The second mission was another recon. This time, the Germans were on recon and the British were defending.
There is two Sopwith Camels and a Bristol F.2B.
Versus two Fokker Dr.I, a Halberstadt CL.II, and that darn black Albatros!
Again, lets all meet in the middle!
This one gets mixed up pretty quick!
The Halberstradt got the recon and is heading back!
FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!
The red Fokker Dr.I shoots down one of the Sopwith Camels.
That Halberstadt is getting out of town quickly!
Here comes on of the Sopwith Camels after it!
The black Albatros tries to intercept but the Sopwith Camel shoots it down!
The red Fokker is back into the fight. Chasing after the Sopwith Camel.
Where are the other planes? Well, two are way behind on the other side of the map.
The Halberstadt is about home free!
The Halberstadt gets home with the recon!
The red Fokker catches up to the Camel and shoots it down!
This one is a German Victory as well.
