WoG on the Last Frontier

Traveling for a living, I have played WoG (as much as I could) all over the globe, just as much as my job has imposed long hiatuses in my gaming career.
Nevertheless, I still find myself to beat my own gaming records!

Today in Skagway, Alaska at Latitude 59º26,7'N I played the northernmost game of my Wings of War career!

In my lunch break, giving up on food, I unwrapped my "travel WoG kit" (a duel pack) and had the SPAD XIII face the Albatros D.Va
Quick game it was, as it took only 3 turns for the German plane to explode mid-air after a short range burst of the SPAD's machine gun!

Just another reminder of how flexible WoG is, if you can carry around a few miniatures!

Next stop - Spad vs Albatros in the Mexican Riviera!

A nice quick game for your lunch break. I used to play chess in mine back in my younger days and it was always hard to finish a game in the time available.

That's some serious globetrotting gaming, Valerio, well done old chap.

Reading this I recalled someone had made a travel set for the card game - 1/3 scale mounted on magnets with a metal backed map board to play on. I found the thread from 2009 though, sadly the pics of it in use in hospital are long since lost in the ether.
