Had a fun day in Cincinnati Ohio at Victory Pints. Nice place! Game tables and lots of local craft beer! Across the street there is a locally owned ice cream shop! YUM!
We had Amergin, The G Dog, Marc, and myself. A lot of family, school, and local events going on. I think even a comic con downtown.
We started out by playing one of the OTT Missions that Flash runs. We did a four player version of "OTTCYM - Mission 10 - Keep On Trucking - Sept 12-18th 1916 By Tikkifriend"
Went very well. Let see the action.
Here is the truck convey with its defenders. A Nieuport 17 and a Sopwith Strutter 1 1/2. Defending four convey trucks and a Machine Gun Truck.
The attackers! A Halberstadt D.III and a LVG Roland C.II.
They all meet in the middle. A common occurence!
Quite a bit of action!
The Germans break through and score hits on the first truck.
The Germans must have sent the strafing aces. They tore those trucks ups!
The first truck goes up. Killed by a fire.
The assault continues!
The second truck goes up in flames as well! They must have been carrying a lot of fuel!
A third truck gets destroyed by machine gun fire.
The table is getting pretty cleared out!
The combined fire from both the German planes takes out the last convey truck.
The N17 finally managed to take out the Halberstadt!
The Roland has decided it does not want to tangle with MG Truck he tries to flee!
Can he get away?
NO! The French finally manage to shoot him down as well.
Fun game! We really enjoyed this one.
Next up we went late war. We have a couple of British scouts looking for an enemy airfield.
A couple of German scouts watching the skies.
As usually, the actions breaks out in the middle of the table.
I always like a nice fire!
The speedy RAF SE5a found the airfield.
Can the RAF SE5a get home with the info? Well, the Sopwith Snipe is going to try and make sure.
Well, he did his job. At a great cost.
After this, we decided the RAF SE5a was too far away and too far to catch so we called it.
A great set of games!
