Flying home after its own mission a Rumpler C.I spied the battle around the Drachens and it was drawn in like a moth to a flame. It quickly questioned its decision as it was attacked and the engine started to belch out smoke.

All 3 Drachens went down to complete a French total victory.
(Funny that a month ago at Havoc all 3 Drachens survived.)

Indeed an historic victory Pete. I don't think we have ever managed all three. Two out of three is the best we have ever achieved.
    Well done those men.

Interesting twist when the Nieuport had its disastrous rendezvous with the rocket. And did the Rumpler crew live to regret their decision? It seems so.

First time I've had all three go down in total contrast of last month with all surviving. The rocketing of their own plane was a hilarious highlight of the game.

Amazingly the Rumpler did survive the fire. The Nieuports did a great job concentrating on the Drachens and only shot at enemy planes when necessary. There were several Booms (at full damage) in the game besided on balloons. Brak Morin had his first plane go down on it's first shot. He later returned the favor in his respawn on the pilot that had downed him!

WoW virgin no more. Of course, the unwritten rule that the first shot in yr direction in your life will be the blast marker (1 in 44 I think, or in this case 3 in 132......). But I returned the favor. It clearly was not our day, it seems like the Allies just flew around shooting down balloons at will........ Losing all three will be a record that will be hard to beat....(impossible, in fact). Thank goodness there was ONE thing to laugh about! Very smoothly run game, thanks Peter.

Yes, I am sure the Nieuport 11 pilot was roaring with laughter. NOT.
