Default Wings of Glory Pocket Travel edition on Italian magazine IoGioco

A simplified set to play cards-only WW1 Wings pf Glory is on the new issue of the Italian game magazine IoGioco.
The magazine is not for sale outside Italy. If you live abroad… convince a local magazine to play it!

Two page of rules include movement, fixed damage combat (no damage cards) and 4 scenarios.
2 cardboard pages include cards to be cut. Three maneuvre decks (C, D, Q) are in “compact” version: one cart per maneuvre type with as many stars as the times you can repeat it in the turn, a card to repeat the first maneuvre of the turn and a card to repeat the second one.

Three double face plane cards are included, to play with 3 planes with a copy of the magazine and 6 planes with two copies.
100% compatible with all Wings of War/Glory materials released since 2004.

Awesome! Too bad it isn't sold outside of Italy!

    Online eMags?

Great idea! Now to see if we can get it published by a world-wide distributor.

Great idea - I like the “compact” approach for replicating the same maneuver in a turn.

    Darn!

Back to the wolrd-wide distributor idea, then.

Same idea as the cards I did for sails last year although I did it so that I could split the packs into two decks to give me cards for my printed ships. Here is an example for the A deck.

One knock on effect is how much it speeds up the game with only half the cards to search through each move.

Too bad this couldn't be PDF'ed on Ares's website as a "Sampler Kit"...

Looks like great opportunity for a more widely published game magazine. Are they affiliated. Looks like it has a style and content similar to Tabletop Gaming Magazine here in the UK.
