Thread: Edelweiss Decals for Kissenberth

    Default Edelweiss Decals for Kissenberth

A while back, there was a seller on Ebay who had a German Aces sheet. On it was a Kissenberth Edelweiss set.

Anybody have one to sell or trade. Even if it is just the Kissenberth and not the other Aces.

I can find Kissenberth edelweiss decals in 1:48 and 1:72 scale, but not in 1:144.

I checked the various 1:144 scale offerings on eBay that has the various Albatros and Fokker ace decals and Kissenberth is not on those.

    I did find THIS.

    And THIS.

If you have the ability to make your own decals (and yeah... I know white is hard to do), here's the image I used when making the full-color Kissenberth Albatros D.V 3D model:

I've got png and svg versions of it too, if needed, with transparent backgrounds. This forum converts them to jpg.

Be aware that the Edelweiss changed shape on some of his planes (there were, I think, TWO versions of it).

Looks like white Decal paper and a sharp scalpel is required to cut around the black outline Dan.

I meant to have a look at this last night, but forgot!
I'll get back on it at some point, and report back here.

Thanks Tim! It is greatly appreciated.

From what I read, he had several Albatros planes painted with the edelweiss.

Tim, those are great. What publication did you get those scans from. I may have to track down a copy.

Dan, if you don't have or want to get the book, I can scan them for you.
