Thread: Smoke and fire

    Default Smoke and fire

In the AAR "Ufag(ettable) Artillery Spotting", one of the players drew fire damage. Before the fire was cleared, he then drew smoke damage. Is there any consequence for that? Our quick reading of the rules didn't find any mention of it.

We know that smoke damage followed by more smoke damage before the first one is cleared becomes fire damage.
We know that fire damage followed by another fire damage before the first one is cleared means that you start again with three fire damage tokens.

Further smoke has no impact; a subsequent fire damage resulting from shooting or penalty (not fire damage as some think) means that you reset with three fire damage tokens.

I would make the argument though, that a close reading of the rules means that two smoke from shots would also cause a reset.
