PARTIZAN 2023 Sunday 21st May Newark Showground

To confirm, we have two tables at this year’s PARTIZAN show in Newark (Newark Showground, on the old airfield site that it shares with Newark Air Museum). Plan is for one Sails table and one Wings table. I am happy to look after a WW1 table and I think Chris (Boney10) will be manning the Sails table. Any additional support would be greatly appreciated.

Definitely need a playing surface (as I only have a couple of mats), let’s have a few Gotha’s and maybe some early war stuff?

hopefully me and marian might get there just trying to shake off the covid we caught
we was able to last 3 years without catching it but it evenually caught up with us.
just mild flu symptoms and tiredness

Another show under our belt, thanks to Tim for his assistance on the Wings table and to Rob and Chris for a great looking Sails table. Great to see Andy and Marion at the show and also John Biggles and Ruth, but the latter two had abandoned us for the ‘Lard Zone’ for the day....

Really busy day with well over 1100 guests on the day.

Spent the day flying Spad VIIs against Albatross D.IIs, it didn’t go well as I’m sure the photos and reports that others upload will testify.

Looks like Clunk has been working overtime on that little lot, though he might want to take a look at some of those struts if he makes it back to the barn !
