WINGS OF GLORY AERODROME POLO SHIRTS

I have been asked several times about getting some new polo shirts so we can display our allegiance etc at shows and gatherings. I am delighted to say that I have sourced a new supply of the polo shirts and even more delighted to say that we will be producing them 'in house' thanks to Andy (Hawkhurst) and the wonderful Marian (Deadly M) - who will be actually producing them for us.

In more good news we are no longer restricted to the traditional sky blue (although obviously this is very much an option) and we can access a range of colours.

We will be using 'Fruit of the Loom' shirts (as before, so same quality and durability)

The full range of available colours is shown below (descriptions below the colour range image)



Top row colours
Black, bottle green, burgundy, dark heather, deep navy, emerald, heather green, heather grey, heather navy, heather red, heather royal, Kelly

Bottom row colours
Navy, orange, purple, red, royal, sky blue, sunflower, white

Now to cost... we are looking at £15.00 for the polo shirt with the Aerodrome Logo with an extra £3.00 if you want your name underneath the logo. If you require the finished item porting there will obviously be a postage cost to add on. If you are able to arrange to have them picked up or collected from various shows and events then obviously there will be no postage costs.

So if anyone is interested please add to this thread here; We need to know the following (initially)
We can also produce shirts for non UK members - there might be a small cost to change the logo from 'UK Squadron' to another nationality

Having supplied the shirts for ten years until my retirement in 2019 I am pleased to see that Marian has picked up the batton and run with it.
My thanks to you for this and also to Andy for his support in the venture.
I actually think that the names under the logo are better than the ones which I supplied.
Far less thin and spider like.

Chris still not getting notifications of posts through to my e mails. This a continuing problem within the Drome ?

Yes Paul it is as I know to my own cost.

We are getting quite a few members noticing this over the last couple of years.
Also some of us, myself included suffer from instant notification of posts not being delivered to our E address. This tends to be for some months and then the facility returns for a time before cutting off again. No answer has been found, but we suspect it is some peoples service providers spam filters doing something.
So far none of our techies have come up with an answer.

Only exception (apologies) are the 4XL shirts which are £20 (all in) as currently we need to source from a different supplier, but we are working on it, so that might improve.
