Well the first day of this recurrent event in Rome has been done.
3 tables, 12 players, 2 dogfighter rounds, 45 min each, 3 referees (one of them Andrea Angiolino), 1 each table.
A young but hard pilot first for points collected, and 2 enemies shut down. Very close to be an Ace.
We will have other 4 evenings, from now to June ... 1 per month ... and we will play a strafing scenario, a bombing one, a reconnaissance, and than another dog fighting.
A prize each evening and a final one for the best player.
Points regulated to have a evening ranking and a final ranking.
A parallel system to recognize the Ace, the Ace of Aces, and a Cross pur le Meritè.
And we are thinking also a possible price for the most gallant player.
The first evening was a success, and we foresee to have additional players next time.
Some experienced pilot surprising us in a unpredictable "too long run, out of table" maneuver.
The 4 shut down will be evaluated if the pilots are still alive and captured or released/escaped.
The place was very nice, lot of beer and chips ... one special hot dog with an incredible name ... the "KRAKEN".
