    Default Happy 100th birthday "Sparky"

    This would have been the 100th birthday of Charles M. “Sparky” Schulz.
    I would like to ask the mess to raise their glasses in a toast to the man who brought
    us so many years of humor, enjoyment and serious lessons
    (as well as a certain Camel flying beagle).

    Thanks for that link, Karl.
    I saw some of those tributes in our local rag but it was good to see ones from other strips.
    Been a Peanuts fan since 1960.

    I flew out of Charles M. Schulz airport after a business trip to Sonoma a few years ago.

    Charles M. Schulz was certainly a very clever man. He was able to convey so many life lessons, and plenty of humour through those few characters that made up his cartoons. Salute 100 years.

    Lots of childhood memories were of this artist's creativity. Some of those 'childhood' memories are more recent...
