Very nice DH2 Craig!
Very nice DH2 Craig!
Nice DH2, Craig! One of the essential planes for the game imo.
Thanks guys! Now on to the Caudron G.4 that just arrived today (sorry Chris)![]()
Nice job on the DH2 Craig - worthy of rep, but I have to spread it around more first![]()
Great work guys. I have to post some new WW I planes I did.
Really like that DH2, Craig!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
After seeing Peter aka Teaticket's Fall-In scenario with the Caudron G.4s and looking up Fox's post on the Museum of the Caudron Brothers in Rue, France, I got the urge to add one to my force. So here is my version using a Shapeways Reduced Aircraft Factory Caudron G.4.
Wings: Base coat Testors Yellow Matte/ top coat DecoArt Gloss Enamels Bright Yellow Acrylic
Struts, Propeller: Testors Leather Enamel Matte
Fuselage Booms and Struts: Testors Leather Enamel Matte
Landing Gear: Humbrol Prussian Blue
Engine & Guns: Citadel Leadbelcher, Humbrol Copper
Engine Cowling: Humbrol Linen
Rudders: Same as fuselage
Rudder Tricolor Insignia: Testors Red, White & Blue Enamel Matte
Sealant: Windsor & Newton Satin Varnish
Decals: Miscmini
Nice job! Really nice Caudron!
Craig, that airplane should be highly visible on the table. Bring it to Gritty Goblin Games in December and I'll fly a Halberstadt D.II/D.III against it.
Very nice, Caudron, Craig!
REP guns jammed
You can post that beauty: Official Caudron G.4
Very nice G4 Craig! I'm sure you'll have fun flying it.
Thanks Guys![]()
Nice! Looks like the ACW Union troops are skeddaling in the background away from your elves.
Maybe they are Confederate Elves! That is what I think caused Bloody Kansas! Elves....we were fighting Elves!
Okay, enough silly behavior! I jest!
Those are really nice looking Shadowcat!
Done over 500 civ war for the guy over the last 3 years, be interesting to see what type of display he makes out of them.
Really sharp looking CR-32s & Ju-87s Bob![]()
Love those Bob. SCW in the air is going to be my 2023 project.
A couple of not necessarily quick fixes on projects I've had sitting about for a while now:
#1. I picked up a Dallas Tripe a while ago and, having sourced the material, I finally got round to the fiddly surgery necessary to put the top plane nearer where it should be:
I also touched in some other details around the cowling & wheel covers.
#2. I took a brush and decals to a Morane Saulnier N I picked up some time ago in the guise of Chaput. I repainted it as Bayetto's 3 sqn Bullet with a red snout - as per the WoW card, rather than what might be accurate. I was happy with the end results of both fixes.
