Default ANTIAIRCRAFT GUNS BOMBING BY TWO ALLIED TWO-SEATERS

The reverse mission of the GERMAN BOMBING MISSION.

A bombing mission for two Allied two-seaters Airco DH.4 and Breguet 14 (Antsaintex at the controls) against two antiaircraft guns protected by an Halberstadt CL.II (directed by Monse).
The planes start at altitude 3.

    1. The two Allied aircraft fly in a grouped formation and the Airco DH.4 descends to altitude 2, while the artillery counters are positioned at altitude 3.
First exchange of fire between the Breguet 14 and the Halberstadt CL.II which caught fire and whose front machine gun jammed.

    2. Exchange of fire between the rear gunners of the Halberstadt and the Breguet whose weapons both jam. The DH.4 misses its shot and makes a turn to avoid the Artillery counters.

    3. The Halberstadt has begun an overdive. It suffers 5 points of damage after the first flame counter is removed.
The Allied planes are maneuvering to escape the Artillery counters.

    4. End of the forced descent of the Halberstadt which can remove the last two Flame counters without suffering any damage.
The DH.4 dodges an Artillery counter which explodes without damage to the aircraft.

    5. The Allied aircraft have temporarily abandoned their attack on the ground targets and are heading for the German two-seater.
The Halberstadt's front gunners and the DH.4 fire at each other, benefiting from a bonus for firing from a higher altitude. The Halberstadt accumulates the high points damage cards and has only 1 point of structure left !

    6. Mutual fire from the rear gunners of the DH.4 and the Halberstadt which is destroyed.

    7. Return of the allied two-seaters towards the anti-aircraft guns which fail again to anticipate the trajectory of the planes. The Breguet descends to altitude 2.

    8. The Breguet slows down and avoids an Artillery counter which explodes without damage in front of the plane.

    9. The Breguet climbs and again avoids an exploding Artillery counter without damage.

    10. The Breguet drops a bomb which partially damages a flak card.
The DH.4 overlaps the Artillery counter but the C damage does not inflict any damage to the aircraft.

    11. The DH.4 drops a bomb which directly destroys the second flak card.

    12. The Breguet again avoids an Artillery counter which explodes without damage.

    13. The Breguet drops a bomb which completely destroys the first flak card.

Conclusion : The two anti-aircraft guns have been destroyed as well as the Halberstadt which was heavily penalized by Flame damage from the beginning of the game.
Antsaintex masterfully maneuvered throughout the game to avoid the Artillery counters and subtly took advantage of the Halberstadt's distance from the anti-aircraft guns to neutralize it.

Nice AAR, I like the reversal of the previous scenario. It seems the defender was unlucky with the damage cards both times!
