    Default Dawn Patrol

My Brother Bob (BB401) and I (Willi) are heading for Dayton Ohio for the Dawn Patrol Rendezvous (10-7&8). The Bi-annual fly in at Wright-Patterson AFB/USAF Museum. Photos will be forthcoming. I am sure we will be gaming with the Ohio Boys!

The Nieuport 28, D.VII and DR.! (152/17) are all 1:1 Replicas. The Nieuport is Bruce Mundie's out of Omaha - took 5 hops to fly in. The number 14 is the plane in which Teddy Roosevelt's son Quentin was killed in combat, July 14, 1918.

Ahh... I remember doing WGF demos there.
Indeed, check in with the Wright Flight boys, and see if a game can be had.

We Did! A small game on Saturday. Fighters got knocked down and my Caudron G4 hit the target, but could not escape before going down. My pics of Greg, Rich (?)Click image for larger version.

Thanks for all the pictures, Bob. The flight-line lineup looks a bit smaller this year. But the ones there are very good to see.
This brings back memories for me. Thanks again. Karl
