Bowmanfest 2022
I was finally able to make it with a buddy to the small air show near me this weekend and had a blast. Some cool aircraft to see (very much enjoyed the 1947 Widgeon, P51D, Catalina, Avenger, as well as many others). We tried to get a ride on the Huey but they were too booked up. Also tried but failed to get one on the PBY Catalina which would have done a water landing on the Ohio river and returned to the airfield (it left early Sunday to return to northern Illinois). A fun time though!

Thanks all. The weather was perfect, a great way to spend the afternoon. There was a small airshow twice a day with some formation flying and acrobatics, smoke, etc. from a few planes. Lots of fun

Tantalizing Takeoff is an AT-11 Kansan, an Army bombardier trainer. Very nice to be able to poke your head in and have a look around.
The "Russian Red Bull" eludes me -- I don't think it even had a sign on it.
