Default FAREWELL TO THE QUEEN... AND THANK YOU

Now that was a send off fit for a Queen.
2 million lining the streets and an estimated 4.2 billion watching on TV.
Nobody does pomp and ceremony like us...
A day for reflection and respect, but also a day to be so very proud to be British.

Rest in peace your majesty, and thank you.

    God save the king.

I remember wondering my father that he was watching the funeral of Mother Tereza.
I did the same today. You're right, Chris, there is no other nation that could do it in this dignified way. And it's not about royalty, it's about beeing British. Good old Albion in its best
    Glory to your new king.

Now watching the proceedings recorded last night. And Chris said it above. This is an awesome ceremony.

I only served my country, and the Queen, for 36 years, but honoured to do so. Queen Elizabeth II, as Commander-in-Chief of the Canadian Armed Forces, was a stirling example as to look up to, for service to country.

    RIP, my Queen.

    Long live the King.

I agreee with Chris entirely. I was glued to the screen throughout.
It was also great to see Canada represented there Mike.
    God save the King.
