We have been asked if we will put on a couple of games at this show, as usual.
However as it is the week after Doncaster do we have the. Volunteers to attend or not ?
Please let me know asap so I can confirm the tables

I'm up for it - especially since I missed the last one!

I’ll be there, rude not to.

Ok I will confirm this evening we require two tables for the show, one for Wings and the second for Sails.
Will mention this at Donny as well.
As you know from our PM you can count me in Chris.

I'll be supporting my friend Andy as part of RAW doing the Mahdist war using the men who would be kings rules at Partizan. I'll drop in to say hello though.
Lest we forget
Spoke to Andy (Hawkhurst) and we will split the second table (assuming there will be some boaty shenanigans on the other table) between WW1 and WW2. I will arrive early and set up the WW1 game, we will switch to WW2 at lunchtime and Andy will run that. Hope that meets with folks approval.

Cool!

See you chaps there, yes boaties will be evident
Slight change of plan, looks like the boaty boys are sunk for the day, so I suggest we have a WW1 table and a WW2 table.

Huge thank you to everyone who turned up yesterday... Andy (Hawkhurst) and Marian (Deadly M) for running the WW2 table all day and Tim for his assistance with WW1. Good to see Reg (Rebel) and Doug (Merlin 45) at the table as well. John Biggles was present but was off battling with Zulu”s somewhere. Few other forum members were also spotted, Red Vectors, Dirigible and Dirigible 2, so quite a few familiar faces. Obviously the discovery of Simon’s (Syborg 3D) passing was a shock at the start of the day.
The WW2 table was quiet but we were quite busy on the WW1 table and we enjoyed a couple of great games (awful number of collisions). Photo’s etc to follow.
The day ended on a positive note when we won the raffle.... which meant a last minute shopping dash round the stall holders.
The Boaty Boys missed a decent show.... obviously all had come down with scurvy.
More later...

Glad you managed without us Chris. I thought I was over it but, it turned into something more like Dysentery than scurvy.

Hope you and Eileen have both recovered in full.
It was a fun (and expensive - for me!) show - the WW1 games were a real blast; especially those involving our regular "Groupies" who seem to follow us around the country, joining in our games at most of the Shows we do.
The news of Simon's passing did put a bit of a damper on it, though.

Hi Tim.
Both of us are feeling much better today, and hope to be well enough when Eileen is now scheduled to have the stitches taken out of her eye on Thursday.
