Curtiss Capers

The U-Boat boys have been complaining about being bombed by American Flying Boats a lot lately. So when during our recon mission we saw one of those Curtiss planes we thought we would teach it a lesson and knock it down into the sea. Our mighty single seater Rumpler Seaplanes are armed with B guns, the enemy has a rear firing B gun, an A firing nose gunner, and a supplementary B gun firing in a 90 degree arc for the co-pilot.

Our tactics were to divide and swing around behind it and then blast it with both of our planes. With only a single machine gun each we though that would be a good idea, especially seeing as we know the enemy had a huge blind spot at the rear.

Alas, things do not always work the way you plan.........

The WoG Solo app flew the Curtiss and I flew both seaplanes.

What kind of Curtiss were you using? I do not recognize that armament configuration.

Next time use Rumpler 6B2 or Albatros W.4. They are both A firing. Of course a Hansa-Brandenburg W-29 would be a killer.
