Thread: Origins 2022: The Thunderbolts are coming:

  1. #1

Default Origins 2022: The Thunderbolts are coming:

4 P-47 Thunderbolts with rockets attack a retreating German column. 4 Fw-190 Doras defend the column. There
are tanks, trucks and 3 FLAK halftracks, which have the only AAA in the game (I thought giving the tanks an A gun would
be a bit much; maybe not).

    Another ripping game Karl.
I must look out my Italian strike force again.

16 zeros! Someone had his lucky charm with him.

That smoking column looks like a bad day for the Whermacht.

    Terrific action, Karl.
    Thanks for posting.

(and I see a use for my Micro-Armor that has been stashed away for 30+ years)

Yeah, I had sold mine off years before getting into Wings so now I have to go buy some again.

Absolutely. I can recommend GHQ for cost, ease of cleaning/painting, and looks.
I need to improve the basing (and stop doing things at the last minute )

I was pleasantly surprised how well the flame markers I made looked on the ground targets
So now I need to make a couple more batches.

Also, give the A guns back to the tanks

Good idea for a game and it played out well.

For the micro armour bases you could just use clear pvc cut to the right size. It would possibly blend into the very nice mat better than the card.
    Cheers

A good idea, though from my personal experience with cutting PVC, I might just buy bases from Litko, since they're the right size.
