Thread: Origins 2022!

On Wednesday, the first day of Origins I ran a teaching session at noon. 8 people came to the table and I was able to give them 1 hour learning WGF and 1 hour on WGS. I was happliy surprised at the turnout as not one had pre-registered for the session. There were I think young 3 brothers and a friend attending. The father(not in any photo) of the three brothers was watching and talking to me through the session. He was very excited about the game and the planes the game has produced. He went to the ARES website on his phone and was really excited that they had Mustangs. I had to sadly inform him that many of the planes are not available or only available at premium prices. Still, he was thriled about the game and when the session was over took his young squadron over to the vendor area. Looks like some young blood added to our game.

Yes, brining in the youngsters is a double edged sword. We need young players but they treat us oldsters so badly!

Yes, please, nobody under 50 from Opole in Prague anymore

Just kidding, let them shot down us

Ditto those comments Pete. I can see clearly now that the rain has gone!
Very good work with the youngsters.

Here's the links to my AARs: not as good as Peter's, but hope to do better next year.

Nice photos Karl. Wish I had the time to fly in one of your games. Damned guy setting up the schedule didn't allow that.
