Have a good one everybody
First pair of European Masters missions played, some interesting pilot stories expected from tomorrow. Now debriefing in Officer's Mess
How grand it was to meet up again with so many Wingmen from times past, and to make new friends into the bargain!
Super stoked for more fun and games tomorrow.
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!

Sven is fully qualified for photo missions next year
Great event, great meeting of friends!
From me, for the moment, a few pictures on Facebook and a little battle report here:

I don't know why some pics that are straight on the telephone are tilted 90° when posted here...
I enjoyed your shots of the con Sven.
Thanks for bringing back the memories.

Everything is done, there are few words I want to say to all of you who came and also to you, who are thinking about next year or just observe it from the distance (maybe even from distance od two oceans):
It is very important to mention all game masters who bring their ideas to the venue and realize it. We, pilots of Prague Flight, did this ourselves in past times (around 2015 and 20106), were highly motivated and tested every mission at least two times. It is impossible to continue with this system for more than one or two years in a row. Your missions are a big help and it is not easy for me to choose which I want to play. Thank you for your hours of preparations and willingness.
It is not easy to stay tunned for our beloved game in times, when the last completely new types for WGF were released 7 years ago and the last fighters of WGS in the same year (anyway, thanks for Do.18 and Ju.88 3 years ago). Waiting is one thing, but there is also a possibility of loosing hope for future of our game. Prague, Rome and Doncaster events are the pillars of our game right now. Especially Italian contingent was a nice surprise of this year. Well done! Thanks for keeping the fire burning.
The very last note is about money. Maybe you notice we are trying to keep the event as much open as we can. It is probably because of my volunteer background, because in Scout movement we (scout leaders) are usually asking about money that not belongs to boy and girl scouts, but to their parents. So we are trying to keep costs as low as possible. A habit. We were fine for several years, because we received some money for licence to previous name of event ("Prague Con") and we invested them for renting venues and other things around. That was the reason there wasn't any entrance fee. We could not visit Láďa's shop this year, so we had an extra costs that we were in trouble to cover. Thanks to you and your generosity we did it successfully. Thanks to you all who put a money to donation tube, thanks to you who buy something from the prizes and thanks to you who asked me and were ready to cover the difference in case of need. It is great to have such friends as wingmen.
There will be 20 years from the first release of Famous Aces next year. We have several ideas how we want to celebrate this anniversary. Stay tunned
The next year date is 19th-21st April 2024.
Thanks, everybody.
True, so true. You players gave the strenght to the game to survive the weird closing of Nexus Editrice. And today, with these events, you are again a huge reason to look forward and a huge help.

Angiolillo taught his friends to play
They are gone in and out of style
But they are guaranteed to raise a smile…”
Eager to see all you again. And those that could not manage to be there!

...and that is exactly the case or Prague, Rome and Doncaster. Anyway, noted.
Thank you for your perspective, now let's continue with the topic - organization of Prague events. My apologies to you if my thanks turned you on.

Brilliant phot. What a happy bunch of pilots and pilotesess
I remember that year: well organized, several missions with Me.262, Thomas's superb repaints. I wish bring that atmosphere back
Yes - thx for the nice picture.
Already printed.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
About 2024's Edition, any news about the location(s)?
I know it will be 19-21 of April, and I've booked the plane's ticket, but I'm looking for a convenient hotel location
A very good question!
We plan to stay in the same quarter. Our plan is:
- Fri&Sun Svět deskových her store, Kubánské náměstí (the same name for tram stop too), close to Strašnická metro station (Line A),
- Sat Tlama Games store (same as this year Fri&Sat), Třebohostická No. 2, close to Nové Strašnice tram stop, close to Depo Hostivař metro station (Line A).
The best would be somewhere between them (it's outside city centre so accommodation should be lower), but anywhere on Line A of Prague metro would work well. A 72 hours full public transportation ticket costs 330 CZK (~13.40 €).
Ogří doupě seems to be a very nice place.
Fabio we (Tim , myself and Mary)stayed here last year . its near both of the venues and is comfortable and clean. Its also 3 mins from the main tramline
