I need your opinions, pilots: there is no standard&cheap Saturday venue around Láďa's shop (still counting with it for Friday and Sunday). What do you think about moving to a different part of Prague for Saturday? We were discussing the second river bank also.
Feel free to add your perspective, please

As long as it is easily reachable by public transportation any place is ok for me

Definitely: it's a necessary condition for moving. Luckily, Prague public transportation works (relatively) well and there are almost no white areas on city map without transportation stops.

Yes, finding a venue, some youth club or something similar, big enough for all games and gamers, would be first priority, no matter where in Pague. Second would be the hotel / or a list for the accommodation nearby.

It is, but there are several troubles with them:
    1. They wanted 10 000 CZK just for reservation .
    2. Not sure if the venue is big enough for standard 50+ particiants.
    3. Lady in charge complained me we were not ordering enough exactly 20 minutes after begining of the event.

Hotel MARS is not a hotel anymore (it is in process of rebuilding to appartments right now).
Pity there is no such place like South Yorkshire Air Museum, that's perfect.

    Agree, Thomas.
Hard to write the list (maybe I'm still too much a budget guy), but it's easy to point main tramlines around, so you can stay in centre and close to venue too (in perspective of travelling time).

I'll do my best to join the Italian Team during this event.
Willing to earn my glory, in all the game, flying in the sky or sailing on the sea..

If you mean the astronomical observatory (https://www.planetum.cz/stefanikova-hvezdarna/ ) then they don't. The rooms they have are now used for public astronomical exhibitions.

Just in case someone needs inspiration for the italian planes repaint contest. This site is specialized in Regia Aeronautica and shows plenty of wonderfully built models.

Can anyone recommend a hotel somewhere near Svět deskových her?

I need to book something soon.

Also, are there any highly recommended day excursions I might want to tack on to my visit?

Weird how the price of Flights works out...

If I fly in an extra day earlier than I need to, and also fly out an extra day late, my flights work out Ł100 cheaper?!!!!!!

Looks like 2 extra days in Prague, then!
