Thread: My latest and simpliest storing system

Default My latest and simpliest storing system

I started using thick(0.06mm) zip bags to store my aircraft. They have no chance to damage themselves unless you put some heavy stuff in the same box. The plastick bags keep them from being scratched and generally moving around. This may not apply for WW2 aircraft, because their propellers are really thin and fragile. I have a fixed thick divider between the card and the mini part of my box. This is a small box where i throw whatever i feel like playing when we meet at Ladineks lair.

Ingeniouse in its simplicity - great inspiration for me since I have no such storing system.

    Cool!

Depending how much space you have inside the box, you can "trap" a big bubble of air inside each bag, making each one a balloon, and that way they won't shift around inside the box.
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!

Yes, it works like a bubble wrap, but it is way less space demanding. The models are super light, so basically all you need is to protect them from scratching and being bumped by a heavy object.

Never thought about the heavier zip lock bags. Looks like your setup works well & is a elegant solution!
