All looks good, Wayne. I look forward to seeing it on the table.
What a beastie ! Slightly faster & slightly weaker than the Staaken - it will be interesting to see how it performs in action Wayne, I'm sure we won't have long to wait with your willing testers nearby !
"He is wise who watches"
Morning gents, objectives this month are the following...
From the production line:
On the last mission "a spark of hope" it was evident to QH that a single plane can not bring down a tripod so Jean Navarre has put in a request for two new Nieuport 16s.
From Amin HQ:
° Our boys on the ground are getting massacred so new rules of engagement will be drawn up for the following: Infantry. Heavy Machine Gun. 75mm Field Gun.
° Jean Navarres initial use of "Rockets" was rather complicated so a new version will be proposed.
° HQ wishes to put into place "Character Sheets",officers only for the moment, to track your progression. This in time is hoped to enable you to learn new skills and be more effective against this new enemy.
Note that initial versions will be posted in "House Rules" and all feedback is welcome.
...debrief is for the 25th, and Jean Navarre informs me that he will be re-flying "A spark of Hope" between the 26th and the begining of May, with whatever has been completed by that date. So lets not let him down and lets get to work. Jolly good show and what not.... who has got my tea and biscuits?
Looks great, Wayne! It will be fun to see it in action.
What is the wingspan on that monster? How does it compare to the Handley-Page V/1500? (38.4m/126ft)
A very fine warbird indeed Wayne.
It will be interesting to assess its performance.
Rob.

Awesome!
Looks like a real handful for the Central Powers to deal with.
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Wow, a real monster, great work there.
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
Wayne - I have to say it: "Release the Kraken!"
+++Update+++ (wow fast and motivated)
Hot out of production...
ah.. no sorry wrong file, thats a Sopwith Camel ;-)
made from, cocktail sticks, balsa sprue (from the Sopwith) and lolly pop sticks...
my first Nieuport 16...
its a bit too "bulky". I will try to make all the parts a bit thinner on the next one... :-)
Nice work Yann
that handley page turned out awesome wayne!
Well done, Yann. The Nieuport looks good.
Impressive Yann.
When are you doing your Staaken?
Rob.

Hello all its 25th feedback time.
From the production line:
I managed to make and paint 2 Nieuport 16s. I am quite pleased with the second as the proportions are better. The flying stands were a bit fiddly and to copy the same system as the plastic ones in wood did not work, so I opted for a single stand per altitude:
From Amin HQ:
° proposed rules for ground troops are up in the T&T house rules section
° proposed rules for modifying rockets are up in the T&T house rules section
all feedback is welcome.
° "Character Sheets" are taking a bit more time than I thought, I will include them in Mays' Workbench :-)
It is crazy just how talented some of our chaps are... we should get together and start a company, lol
