Default How do you store your BSG Ships

    Hi,

I've always liked watching BattleStar Galactica and am looking to pick up the items for the game before they go out of stock.

For Wings of War/Glory, there are purpose built foam trays from KR Cases to store the ships in but I don't see anything on their site for BSG.

    What are players using?

    TIA

    Steve, welcome to the 'drome
Most of my stuff fits in a Game Plus Flagship bag and their foam trays.
I cut/glued/taped the large boxes together to build a home for my Galactica.
Foam asteroids in a ziplock bag, stored in the Game Plus, along with control panels (stored in an empty Heavy Raider box).
Each maneuver deck is sleeved (into a chopped off Tarot-size I think) and stored in card holders (Paiyule brand, 6.2 x 2.5 x 4.3 inches).
The other card holder has draw bags of damage chits, ship and skills cards.

I hadn't thought about BSG storage. That's really nice Chris. May have to do something similar.

Original boxes, for the moment. I even have a second starter set, still in the shrink wrap...

And I'm gonna need something for this, soon:

My X-Wing storage is fairly close to that, though I do stack A-Wings and X-Wings on top of each other but the cut out is custom to the ship. I've never good that far for BSG, but I may consider it. I can take a picture when I get home but I put all of the ships into the base game box with two dividers. Unless you're VERY carless everything so far has been fine.

But! I don't have as much as Chris.

Thanks for the replies, Chris that looks impressive. I may look into what pick and pluck trays KR Cases have (I like the company and they have always been good if I am after something.) I had thought about just cutting up simple figure foam trays (the 4 rows of 9 type of thing) but if the ships don't fit simply then the P&P may be the better option.

    Thanks

I'm trying to use Keith's trays, but I'm having trouble.

The holes are so deep that you can place 3 Vipers on top of each other, or 4 Raiders!
The fit is so tight that it's really difficult to get them out.

I'll keep persevering, when I get time.

Not got enough ships to warrent any major storage so they sit happily in their original packaging.

Nothing special, but there isn't that many shipped compared to my X-Wing or WoG WW1 collections. I just keep them in the original box. It has everything except a play mat. Dials, stands, ships and ship cards, etc. Enough for most fights.

    6 - Vipers
    3 - Rapters
    4 - Radiers
    2 - Heavy Raiders
