Thread: Doncaster 2022 badge

  1. #1

    Default Doncaster 2022 badge

    Good day to all,
I wish to get a start on this year’s commemorative item.

We have a possible choice which we would like to offer.

Choice 1. A pin badge as we currently have, it will be light blue same design as usual with Doncaster 2022 inscribed.

With this choice we would need to know numbers by mid April. We will then get the price and publish but then payment be made by the end of May. If you order a badge then , sorry , but you will be expected to pay for it, without exception.
Reason being the badges are paid for in advance upon ordering so we have to recoup the monies. These days spares cannot be ordered so if you commit to a badge you pay for it. Badges will then be given at this years Doncaster meet.

Choice 2 This year we may be able to offer a custom t-shirt or polo shirt, a blue in colour, to be determined. The intention will be to have an embroidered motif, possibly our wings motif with Doncaster 2022 underneath.

Choice 3 Nothing, nada, nowt, sod all

So we need a consensus as to which choice those attending Doncaster this year would like to have.
If we get a choice for option B we will then explore the viability of the shirts.

For the choice please look and let us know by the end of March

I will colate the numbers and choice.

    Over to you guys

Yes to a badge please Chris.

'Meh' to a t-shirt or polo shirt. Thought about a baseball cap as an alternative? Possibly cheaper than a polo shirt, one size fits all so you don't have to fanny about finding out who wants what size.

Good call - could then be worn in addition to an existing owned polo, plus any number of pin badges.

Actually, I would be up for BOTH options

To bring this back to the fore, not many takers as yet, does this mean no to the idea?

I'm still in, for a badge or a cap or BOTH (see Post #4 above)

A Badge and /or Baseball cap is my choice. If it's one or the other I go for the Badge.

I have also two on order, one of which is going spare for just such an emergency. So that would be two out of three of you sorted out Lex.

Mrs K says there is a special hoop that will hold the peak of the cap for embroidering behind it.

However, the price of the hoop could be £80- £100.

And I also hope for next year Doncaster

    I could take 3 extra too ...
That would make 6 for the Dutch Wing (Lex, Arjan, myself as real attendees) and 1 for Joaquim/BlackRonin, 1 for Alfonso (PonchoLatour) and one for Sven.
The last 3 to have a sticker on the back saying "did not attend" (homemade by me )

    cheers,
    Guus

So if I took another five that would make 26 with the new offers plus anything Tim wishes to add on.
