Thread: New Recruit for the Twenty Minuters!

Default New Recruit for the Twenty Minuters!

    Hi Folks,

New recruit from Woking in the South East here. Just joined the forums.

Great to see such a strong community around this fantastic game and I plan to make full use of the files section!

I play occasional games of Wings of Glory WW1 with my board games group; it's very well liked, though obviously being a board games group they only indulge me a couple times a year. Hoping to make it along to a meet up or two, or find some people who play in the South East so that I can get in on some biplane fun (or monoplane - I don't discriminate!) on a more regular basis.

Planning to add some tripods to my WW1 collection, being from Woking it would be improper not to...

    Cheers,

    Sam

    Welcome to the 'Drome, Sam!

If you have any questions feel free to ask - we're a friendly bunch!
Also, I'm happy to answer PMs from pilots in my Squadron Command area.

We're aiming to be at 'Colours' in September, and also Devizes in July might be within reach for you.

    Happy flying!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!

Welcome from the sunny Space Coast! Enjoy the site and have fun in the files section; you can spend hours browsing through there. Great stuff. And once that is done and you want to kill a LOT of time jump into the historical section. Great place to browse for hours on end. Enjoy the game.

Welcome to the aerodrome Sam! You are lucky to have a very active Wings community in Old Blighty. Put on your goggles and scarf and hop in the cockpit.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

'Colours' is only 40 minutes from me, so hopefully myself and a couple friends can come and get involved.

Result ! Come and say hello, the usual suspects will be there. We're usually on the top floor - keep an eye on the thread in the UK Wing for details, we're waiting on the official invite..
